1. HOW CAN I REGISTER TO SOMIXX?
To be able to purchase on the portal you must be registered.
Click on the link
‘register now that can be found at the top right of the portal.
You will receive a confirmation e-mail of your account. Access the link provided in the e-mail to complete the process. This step is necessary to confirm that it is really you who is registered in Somixx and that another user is not attempting to take over your identity.
After completing the previous steps and you will be able to access the portal by entering your username and password in the block at the top right.


LABLES AND INDEPENDENT ARTISTS can also register to sell their tracks.
In Somixx.com you have autonomy to choose the price of your music, total control over your sales and other issues, with the management of your profile through your own control panel.

2. I AM AN INDEPENDENT ARTIST OR REPRESENTATIVE/OWNER OF A RECORD LABEL, HOW CAN I SELL MY TRACKS ON SOMIXX?
To be able to sell your tracks on Somixx you only have to register on the portal indicating whether you are an artist or a record label. Fill out the
form and a Somixx agent will contact you to verify your data and activate your account. .


3. HOW CAN I LISTEN TO TRACKS?
To listen to a track you only have to click on the icon Somixx on the lists of the web.
Find songs in the genres’ sections or in your favorite labels and artists’ directories.

Click on the icon Somixx to visualize the tracks that the ‘EP’ or album contains (ex. 01, figures 01 and 02).

You can also access to the complete card of the ‘EP’ or album by clicking on the name or on the image of it to see full list of tracks.

When you click on the icon Somixx to listen a track, it is loaded onto the player that you can see in the low part of the right column. Press ‘play’ to start the player.

If you can not visualize the player or you can not hear the track it is possible that you have installed an older version of the flash plug-in; you can download the latest version
http://www.adobe.com.
If you continue to have problems, write to our
technical support indicating the problem and the version of your navigator.


4. HOW CAN I BUY TRACKS?

Next to the listen icon you will find the buy icon Somixx. Clicking on this icon the chosen item is automatically saved in your shopping basket (you can see the accumulated items in the shopping cart in the top right block).

IMPORTANT: By clicking on the buy icon Somixx of the EP's and albums in the catalogue lists of the web (Ex. 02, in red) you will be adding the EP or complete album to your cart.
To proceed to the purchase of only one of the items, you must click on the icon Somixx, and click on the buy icon Somixx that is next to your chosen item (Ex. 02, in yellow). You can also buy the items separately having access to the complete card of the ‘EP’ or album and clicking on the icon Somixx related to the chosen track in the list of tracks.

To proceed to purchase of the track/s you can click on 'Pay' inside your shopping cart, from there on you only have to follow the indicated steps. The payment will be made by your credit / debit card through PayPal.


5. PAYMENT SYSTEMS
To purchase in Somixx you must use your credit card. The purchases are processed through the PayPal system.

It is not necessary to have an active PayPal account, since the system will allow you to charge it on your regular credit card.

PayPal is a secure and efficient payment system; you can find more information about it at
www.paypal.com.


6. HOW CAN I KEEP TRACK OF MY FAVORITE ARTISTS AND LABELS?
To keep track of your favorite artists and labels, Somixx has the 'favorites' function.
Every time you access to an artist or label main page, you will be able to add them to your favorites by clicking on the link 'add to favorites' that you will find at the end of their information.
Through this link the artist or label is associated to your favorite list. You will receive an e-mail whenever any of them are updated, that is to say, if there is new content of them at our web site.
In addition, in your favorites' page (access it by clicking on Somixx) you will be able to see the state and the latest update by date of each one of the artists or labels that you have added to your favorites.


7. HOW CAN I CREATE A CHART?
To create your charts you only have to add your favorite tracks in the Somixx player. Once you have finished, you only have to click on button Somixx (create new chart) that can be found in the player and all the tracks will be added automatically to a list.

From the screen where you can see this list you will be able to eliminate some tracks if you wish and choose the order of the tracks in the chart by putting the order number in the indicated field. If you want to add more tracks, you only have to add them to the Somixx player and click on button Somixx again, this way the list of tracks will be generated again to add and / or edit.

Before you save the chart, you must indicate the name of the chart, add a photo to the chart and put your name on it. Once it is saved, the chart will appear in the option
‘my charts’, where you will be able to edit and / or to eliminate it. Your chart will also appear in the global charts of Somixx.


8. HOW CAN I CREATE A PLAYER WITH THE SOMIXX TRACKS FOR MY WEB SITE?
To create a player you only have to add the tracks that you want to include in the Somixx player (Player that you use to listen the tracks of the web) and click on button Somixx (create player). Automatically the tracks will be added to a list.

From the page where you can see this list you will be able to eliminate some tracks if you wish. If you want to add more tracks you only have to add them to the Somixx player and click on button Somixx again, and a new list of tracks will be generated.

Once you are finished, you only have to press button 'generate code', copy the generated code and paste it on your web.

It is necessary that you indicate the address of the web page where you are going to paste the code.

Browse on the web and add tracks into the Somixx Player to start.


COMMON PROBLEMS

9. I CANNOT LISTEN TO TRACKS
To be able to listen to tracks, your computer must at least have the version 10 of flash. If you do not have this version or a newer one, you can update your flash player at
http://www.adobe.com.


10. I CANNOT DOWNLOAD THE PURCHASED TRACKS
When the payment of your tracks is validated, you can download them from the option
‘purchase record' through the icon Somixx placed at the top right of the portal. You can see it when you are logged in.

You can download at any time, but remember that every purchase only allows you to do one download.


11. POOR QUALITY SOUND
You should bear in mind that the audio files can be acquired in different qualities, so that a poor quality of file equals a poor sound quality.
In case you detect a file in bad condition, send an e-mail to our
technical support, and if necessary, we will proceed to return the purchase amount.


12. MISTAKE IN PAYMENT
The most common mistakes of payment are due to the connection loss at the moment of payment or due to a mistake in the card information. If this was the case, you can make the payment again. If even after this you cannot manage to make the payment, send an e-mail to our
technical support specifying the type of mistake and we will try to find a solution.

Do not forget to confirm with your bank that your card is valid for purchases on the Internet.


13. THE TRACK DOWNLOAD HAS BEEN INTERRUPTED
If the track download has been interrupted, you will be able to download the track again because the download button will still be there. The system makes sure that the downloads have been totally carried out, so the option to download a track will disappear when a track has been fully downloaded.


14. I HAVE REGISTERED BUT I CANNOT ACCESS, OR, FINISH THE REGISTRATION
If you have introduced all your information in the registration form and the system has not shown you any mistake, your registration was made successfully.
Remember that it is necessary to confirm your account by clicking on the link that you have received by the e-mail with which you have created your account (account verification).
Bear in mind that some times this e-mail can take up to several hours to be received. If you have not received this e-mail in your mailbox, check that your e-mail program has not saved it as 'Spam'.
If even then you do not manage to properly register or you do not receive the e-mail with the confirmation link of your account, send an e-mail to our
technical support.


15. I HAVE LOST MY ACCESS INFORMATION, WHAT CAN I DO?
If you have lost your access information, you must use the link 'forgotten your password?' which is located under the user and password login to the right. Through this link the system will send an e-mail to generate a new password.


 
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

16. CAN I USE THE SOMIXX TRACKS?
The use of the tracks, and all the rights that have not been explicitly granted in the terms and conditions contract use of Somixx's, are reserved to Somixx.com and / or to their license holders.
All the music downloads or music samples from the somixx.com website are property of somixx.com and of their license holders and are protected by the laws of industrial property and intellectual property. Without a previous authorization in writing of somixx.com or of other license holders, the content cannot be transmitted / translated, shown publicly, loaded, published, recorded, broadcasted, rented, sold, distributed, digitalized, commercialized, reproduced, altered to create new works, interpreted or re-compiled in any way in another computer, web site or any other way for commercial purposes.
A "Sample" is a promotional portion of a track, in some cases, the entire track is available while you are connected to the service. The samples can also be a promotional music video. They are free and can be reproduced but not captured. Do not try nor support the attempts of others of downloading, copying or capturing a sample.
A "Download" is a bought track that can be transferred to a portable compatible device, saved on your hard disk with an unlimited time of reproduction or record in a CD / DVD or any other suitable device for it.
The authorization to use downloads is exclusively for personal use and not for commercial use. Downloads are strictly limited for personal use, any other type of use or distribution is not authorized and infringes the laws of intellectual property and the author's copyright.
YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO LOAD DOWNLOADS ON INTERNET. IT IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED TO SHARE FILES IN NETWORKS PEER-TO-PEER (P2P) and any other platform to share and to transfer downloaded files in the net to devices for the above mentioned intention.


17. CAN I MODIFY THE TRACKS BOUGHT IN SOMIXX?
You are not authorized to do reverse engineering, disassemble or modify any track that has been downloaded. You are not authorized to create "derivative works " altering the downloaded content. You are not authorized to use downloads together with any third party content.
